May Edit- Outdoor Living
Is it true? Is it time we cautiously extend our living into the great outdoors? This month as the sun starts to warm up, my mind is definitely on what’s happening in outdoor décor & design and how to make the most of our short season.
First up, major inspiration is found in this family home in Montecito, CA. Multiple spaces are defined for cooking, dining and lounging by the fire, all surrounded by beautiful hard landscaping and thoughtful planting. The yard is designed in a truly laid back manner, allowing a somewhat “wild” feel in the yard all the while the paying homage to the architectural style of the home.
Two words.
Plunge pool.
Yes please.
Small footprint, less expensive to build and heat, easier to incorporate into your landscape plans. Sounds perfect.
Ok, so if a plunge pool isn’t in the budget for this year, may we suggest a standing heater lamp?
Perfect for chilly evening alfresco dining and super stylish.
