Welcome

Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here! Let me introduce myself. My name is Dione Dashney and I’m the principal here at Dashney Interiors. I started my interior design career back in 2001 after graduating from Mount Royal University (it was still a college back then!) I was lucky enough to land my dream job with Johnson & Associates Interior Design right after graduating. From 2005-2011 I took an interior design hiatus to start a family and run a custom luxury stationery business. Once my kiddos were old enough to go back to school I felt interior design pulling me back in and I returned to Johnson & Associates. From 2011-2022 I’ve worked side by side with Bruce Johnson on hundreds of projects big & small. I had to opportunity to grow from baby designer to senior designer in the same firm, honing my residential design skills. As of 2022, Bruce is retiring and I’m excited to take the reigns under my own name.

This blog is going to be a fun space for both of us. We’re going to learn, laugh & most importantly we’re going to get inspired.
