South Calgary - Before & After

Witness the transformation of our South Calgary project! Custom elements infuse this contemporary home with a unique personality, while unexpected accents bring a delightful contrast to its lush green cabinetry.

The fireplace underwent a major glow up. The industrial cement finish was replaced with a unique fluted wood surround. The mural on the living room wall was removed creating a blank canvas for the mid-century modern inspired furniture to shine.

Our favourite room of the house! Here we had some fun, adding a wallpaper with character (and characters), and a gorgeous terrazzo hexagon floor tile. The vanity was replaced with rift cut white oak, an oval mirror replaced the standard building grade option and two fantastic sconces gave this powder room its finishing touch.

The original bar area was small and cramped with a not-so-easily accessed beverage fridge. To remedy, the bar area was moved to the other side of the kitchen, and this space was fitted out with cabinetry and repurposed as a coffee bar.

The visually heavy barn doors to the den were removed and replaced with a crisp white custom door with arch detail. Additionally a bar area with beautiful wood millwork was created where a built-in pantry initially stood.
