April Edit

I have a love for European "non-kitchen" kitchens and this one stopped me in my tracks. The slick white cabinets combined with the dramatic stone & parquet floors are a stellar modern yet timeless combination.

Despite the fact that it is still (yes still!) snowing in Calgary, April gets me thinking about outdoor spaces. I'm loving the organic form of this CB2 Bacio sofa. We've been seeing these curvilinear shapes indoors for a few years now and we'll start seeing them more & more outside. These types of soft shapes fit seamlessly into nature.

Another soft relaxed outdoor piece from Minotti. The semi-circular shape is perfect for intimate gatherings around the fire.

You can never have too many outdoor pots. These Hourglass pots from Ferm living are beautiful on their own or filled with plants. And a bonus - you can use the pot both ways depending on the size of your plant.

Another photo that stopped me in my tracks  - this blue paneled room by Ashley Stark. This is a blue that can never go wrong, ditto for paneling. Always fresh, always timeless.
