Project Spotlight - Mount Pleasant

Exterior

The home sits on a lot overlooking a park. Floor to ceiling windows on the park facing side make the transition from inside to outside seamless. The contrast between the clean geometry of the house and the natural park is “chef’s kiss”.

Foyer

The light filled entry was deliberately kept clean & unclutttered - a palette cleanser if you will.

Powder Room

In stark contrast to the open & airy foyer, the adjacent powder room is full of drama & moodiness.

Kitchen

This kitchen is meant for serious entertaining. Lot of room for milling about while the seating at the far end keeps guests out of the way of the cooking station. Dark wood & high gloss cabinetry complement each other perfectly.

Nook

An unconventional take on the nook - our client didn’t need another dining space so we transformed the kitchen nook into a cozy sitting area.

Stairway

A feat of engineering, the central staircase is like a piece of sculpture. The angled metal slats of the screen provide a visual barrier to the living room while still letting in the sunlight.

Living Room

With 2 stories of windows, the living room is flooded with light and the views beyond become integral to the mood. A cozy space for relaxing evenings or intimate gatherings.

Bar

The bar is located on the flip-side of the kitchen - perfect for after dinner drinks and watching the game.

Home Office

At the top of the second floor the home office is open an airy and overlooks the park. The ideal spot to put in a full day of work or chill out in the evening.

Ensuite

It doesn’t get better than this primary ensuite. Marble-look porcelain clads the walls and floor, creating a an ethereal ambiance. The see-thru shower adds to the dreaminess and offers a glimpse to the view outside.

Dressing Room

A clothes lovers dream with plenty of drawer space, built-in hampers and full height mirrored doors all topped off by that view.

Gym

Another light-filled room - the home gym is in the lower level with direct access to the backyard.
